Rely inaugurates its headquarters in Brussels

Press Release

Brussels, June 20, 2024. Rely, the joint venture created in November 2023 by Technip Energies and John Cockerill to develop large-scale green hydrogen and Power-to-X production solutions, today inaugurates its headquarters in Brussels in the presence of Thomas Dermine, Secretary of State for Economic Recovery and Strategic Investments. Rely proposes a unique offering of standardized, configurable plants, alongside customized development services for projects to produce green hydrogen or its derivatives.

The choice of Brussels, and more generally Belgium, as the location for Rely's headquarters makes sense in several respects. In addition to Brussels location halfway between the headquarters of Rely's parent companies in Paris and Liège, Belgium is the ideal country, with its academic excellence and industrial tradition, to attract the talents needed for the growth of Rely, a company focused on innovation and the development of green hydrogen production technologies.

Located at the heart of Europe and with an international outlook, Brussels is also a commercially promising choice: at the heart of the Belgian hydrogen ecosystem and close to the Port of Antwerp, a platform for strategic exchanges and interactions with the world's future green hydrogen-producing regions.

Damien Eyriès, CEO of Rely: "The day after the presentation of our first product, Clear100+, our standardized and configurable green hydrogen plant, and six months after our incorporation, we are proud to inaugurate today our headquarters in Brussels under the patronage of the Belgian authorities represented by Mr. Thomas Dermine. This location at the heart of Europe and global energy issues is a real asset for our company's ambitions of innovation and international deployment."

Thomas Dermine, Belgian Secretary of State for Economic Recovery and Strategic Investments: "I'm delighted to see a world-class company like Rely setting up in Belgium. This demonstrates the attractiveness of our country on the international scene and promises economic activity and jobs for our fellow citizens. I welcome the support that the Belgian authorities, at all levels of power, can give to the low-carbon hydrogen sector, which will make a major contribution to achieving European objectives in the fight against climate change and to decarbonizing our industry."
